IFS (International Food Standard) is a standard for assessing food products in the food industry and is intended to aid communication between traders and producers. The IFS standard combines the requirements of the HACCP system according to Codex Alimentarius, the rules of good production, business and hygiene practice, as well as traceability and labelling of foodstuffs.
